SOFA Studio is looking for R&D Programmer



Job details: SOFA Studio is seeking a R&D Programmer to join our team for the new animated feature film.

Essential Job Functions:
-collaborates with team members to tackle cutting edge technical issues in computer graphic production, e.g. modeling, character rigging, shading, visual effect, simulation and rendering.
-Developing feasible application (plug-in or scripts) which fit users¡¦ requirement via friendly GUI design within customized production pipeline is main task.
-Must be familiar with 3D software package in order to conceive more suitable solution.
-Maintain, amend and document of developed applications.
-Self-managing ¡X organized with good time management. Must be able to identify and meet goals


Requirements: REQUIREMENTS:
-1+ year of related experience in the field of program developing
-B/M Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields
-General understanding of computer graphics
-Knowledge of C/C++ and Python required
-Ability to write robust, efficient and maintainable codes
-Excellent verbal/written communication skills for requirement acquisition
-Technical ability to meet briefs and deadlines
-Experience in Maya or RenderMan is an advantage
-Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
-Able to work both collaborative and independently.
