Hi guys,
I am a photographer/artist and have been trying to get my head around the creation of 3d models from scratch.
I'm currently wanting to create a poster print portrait of a little girl as a mermaid.
The pose with the tail that I'm going for is just like the movie poster for"Aquamarine" or like "H20".
I can't seem to be able to create and texture a good looking, photo real mermaid tail though.
So I'm looking to the experts on here to help me.
I use Cinema4d to render and have been trying zbrush4 to create.
If someone is willing to help me and create a photo realisticly textured mertail to render in Cinema4d then I'd really appreciate it.
The tail shape I'm looking for is like The Disney dream portraits picture by Annie Leibovitz of the Little Mermaid.
I wanting the scales to shimmer and the end of the tail to be slightly transparent.
The texture resolution will need to allow for the final render being a 20 x20inch poster print.
If this is too big an ask. Please let me know.
Thanks
