CCP Games is looking for Graphic Designer - Shanghai
Starting Date: Open Now, duration - Permanent, On-site
Job details: Graphic Designer
The ideal candidate will for this position at CCP Shanghai will possess a basic working knowledge for using sharepoint, FTP and Power Point, have at least six months of experience in customer service in their work history and be organized and process-oriented. We look for future employees that have a passion for gaming, and a desire to innovate, to push boundaries and create unique experiences for our customers.
Requirements: Qualifications:
2-3 years of professional or related educational experience working as an interface or graphic designer in computer gaming or a related field
Master level Photoshop or Painter skills
Familiarity with 3DS Max
Thorough understanding of digital/traditional and graphic design skills and techniques
Thorough understanding of the principles of usability and UI flow
Ability to conceptualize screens and interfaces based on game design documents
Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact effectively
A comprehensive knowledge of competitive products, their interfaces, conventions, and industry standards
Preferred:
Previous game industry experience, relevant undergraduate degree and/or equivalent experience preferred
Prior usability testing experience
Flash experience
After effects experience
Scripting experience
HTML / web design experience, including modern CSS
SPECIAL NOTE: Candidates must provide direct links to online samples of their portfolio, which should include the following:
Iconography, typography and logo samples
Screenshots or mockups of screens, dialogs, main game interfaces
Web design and layout
