| subject: 3D Character Modeler , Planet Moon Studios Planet Moon Studios is looking for 3D Character Modeler duration - Full Time Job details: 3D Character Modeler As a 3D Character Modeler you will work closely with the Lead Artist, building realistic character and object models from scratch to finish. You will work from existing concept art or generate new concept art to build from when necessary. You will be responsible for the mesh, textures, mapping, skinning, and any other technical and aesthetic considerations for the projects character and object art. In addition to strong 3D modeling skills and drawing ability, we expect the candidate to be highly motivated, possess excellent communication skills and to work well within a team. Requirements: Extensive experience and proficiency with 3D Studio MAX Experience in modeling, texturing, mapping and skinning professional-quality 3D character models Precision and attention to detail with an emphasis on optimized clean meshes Strong texture painting and UV mapping skills Strong grasp of human form, proportion, and scale Familiarity with current graphics production techniques Animation skills a plus Outstanding drawing and conceptual art skills a STRONG plus Qualifications: 5 years game development experience Shipped title on current-generation console (PS2/ Xbox/ GC/ PSP) PSP development experience a STRONG plus Organized, team player Proactive communicator Solid understanding of game creation limitations/ dependencies Passion for games Planet Moon Studios treasures personality, experience, initiative, and know-how.
