| subject: 3D Technical Director , Tri Dimensional Studios Tri Dimensional Studios is looking for 3D Technical Director Starting Date: Immediately , duration - 3 months with possible extensi Job details: Tri-Dimensional Animation Studios, a recognized leader and an award winning animation studio producing and delivering world-class 3D and 2D animated productions. We are currently seeking an outstanding and motivated individual for the position of Animation Technical Director. The 3D Animation Technical Director reports to the Director / Producer and will be responsible for supervising the technical aspects of any and all animated childrens episodes, television commercial spots and visualizations projects. Prior tech direction experience is a must. Thorough knowledge of AutoDesk Maya and the ability to troubleshoot problems. A good understanding of the animation pipeline including pre-production, production and post-production is also necessary. Specific Responsibilities include: Thorough understanding of Render passes Compositing Experience in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Be a problem solver Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects keeping everybody on track and motivated Willing to put in the extra time when deadlines persist See all projects through Requirements: Need to have feature film, television or direct-to-video CGI production experience (no students, graduates, ect) Experience compositing using After Effects and Premiere, Shake or Final Cut Pro Experience with Render Farms i.e. Smedge, Muster, After Effects Experience with Render Passes Experience with Lighting and Shadows A diploma or degree in traditional or 3D animation, or equivalent Minimum 2 years production experience in 3D character animation using Alias Maya and recent tech directing experience Excellent leadership skills, communication and problem solving skills Strong technical skills in character animation and competency in all other areas of 3D including modeling, texturing, lighting, effects animation, rendering, facial and lip sync animation 2D Animation experience preferred but not necessary Fluency with other 3D software a benefit but not required A passion for animation U.S. citizenship a must Location: Tampa FL USA email - employment@tridstudios.com web site - http://www.TriDStudios.com |
