| Any way to import a .ai file into max as a spline? i created a vector object in illustrator, saved it, but when i import it into max i get improper format error tried saving as earlier version of AI as well |

| my options are CS2 , CS , 10,9,8, and 3 japanese never used illustrator cs2 before , im usin a co-workers computer to do it, "line exceeds 255 charaters" invalid format thats the error |

| are u doing it on a mac or did u name your file name too long try a short file name |

| hmm closed illustrator, reloaded the file and resaved as a version 3 file and it works ;) thanks for the assistance, i think it was the filename actually and not the version i had spaces in the filename |
