I'm making a house of lego bricks, and the cracks between the bricks are not visible. I tried to make it piece by piece.. but still the cracks are not visible.. any ideas?

All you need is to put yer texture in photoshop and draw a thin line of darker color at the bottom of the texture, then align your texture bottom with brick bottom same for sides

sure but thats cheating it's like fakeing the cracks
Murat
What's cheating? isn't all 3d cheating?

modeling is allways better than texturing

But what about scrapes and rust on metal. That's not modeled. :P How would you model scratches and all that anyway?
Vertex Master
By using zbrush, with displacement map dumped to max..as 1
kinoman
Is that in max?
Vertex Master
no its an organic modeler clay technics

Man I have a lot to learn about modeling.
