| does anyone have any insight as to how i should go about simulating writing showing up on paper as a pen is animated over the paper surface, ive animated the pen going accross the paper , just not sure how i make the ink show up as the pen writes i could manually animate a texture i suppose.. |

| You can constraint a null to the tip of the pen and generate a curve. then there are several ways to simulate the paint on paper. One is to deform a tube by this curve and animate it's stretching along the curve. Another is to use loft and animate the parameters. yet another way is to transform the curves from Bezier to NURBS and animate a triming point that will follow the pen.
