| subject: Animator Lead (digital) , PVP Animation PVP Animation is looking for Animator Lead (digital) Starting Date: November 2006 , duration - 6 months Job details: To oversee the animation process of a direct to TV feature. You will be working closely with the Director, Artistic Director and Producer to adress all the issues related to the animation. Other duties may include: Define with directors and producers an animation style that will take into account the projects schedule and budget Define an animation guide to help establish and maintain the personalities of the characters Sets the stylistic and technical standard for the team of animators Oversee the work of the animation team on a daily basis and communicate animation direction and corrections Help to find solutions to technical problems regarding animation Do quality control work and hands on animation if the schedule needs it Any other activities related to the job Requirements: Strong knowledge of the principles of animation in a digital environment 4 years experience as a character animator Experience of complex, mixed-media pipelines Ability to supervise the work of an animation crew and to dispatch work in regards to their strengths Good overall understanding of a 2d animated project Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills The will and possibility to relocate Location: Matane Canada email - info@pvp.ca phone - (418)566-2040 address - 296, St-Pierre St. Matane Quebec Canada web site - http://www.pvp.ca |
