System Core, Inc. is looking for Art Director Starting Date: July 1, 2006 Job details: Art Director Required: We seek a highly motivated and capable creative director to lead a creative team in designing and producing high impact and visually stimulating graphics for a new software platform. This is a very demanding position that will require the ability to guide the creative team while collaborating with the development team. Responsibilities: Design creative integrated digital concepts that meet our objectives. Work hand in hand with creative team and developers to ensure a seamless and consistent digital experience. Creates interactive design concepts that meet the demands for the project. Builds and maintains team rapport with creative team personnel, client services, & project managers Build a portfolio of online sites that will work to promote the software under development. Qualifications: 6-8 years of creative-director-level expertise; Prior online design experience is required A background in entertainment or video game software would be an asset Experience in working on client/server software platforms and direct collaborating with project managers and developers is a plus. A minimum of 5 years interactive work and a portfolio that demonstrates the ability to conceptualize and design for emerging technologies. Demonstrated competence with Photoshop, Illustrator and similar design applications. Have a good grasp of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), information architecture, and usability principles. Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail and demanding deadlines An understanding of site design, information architecture and hierarchy is a strong plus A demonstrated knowledge of developing creative campaigns using direct marketing strategies For consideration, send a formal copy of your resume as a MS Word document.
