| subject: Art Director , Datascope Recruitment Datascope Recruitment is looking for Art Director Starting Date: Full Time , duration - Permenant Job details: Our client prides itself on being a fun and energetic developer that uses cutting-edge design and engineering to make successful and exciting games. They are a growing studio with a number of shipped titles. Utilizing traditional art training and knowledge of animation, design and computer graphics software, creates artistic concepts, art presentations and story board art. Works directly with Creative Dir. and Art Manager to help visualize and develop game designs. Sets/maintains the visual direction for art / animation on the product and design character prototypes and/or color schemes for art team to follow. Provides artistic direction and guidance to other artists or animators. May train art staff. Position brings high level of artistic / animation accomplishment and/or strong team leadership skills to the solution of artistic problems Requirements: Qualifications/Education: Art related college degree. At least seven years industry experience. Proven track record of superior achievement on other software titles. Fluent knowledge of at least one major 3D package (3DS MAX, Maya, Softimage). Fluent knowledge of Premiere, After Effects, Combustion, or similar compositing software. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, or comparable program.
