| subject: Art Lead , Amaze Entertainment Amaze Entertainment is looking for Art Lead duration - Full Time Job details: Art Lead Amaze Entertainment is seeking an experienced Art Lead. The ideal candidate has 5 + years of experience as an Art Lead preferably with console experience. Responsibilities: Work with producer, designer and studio art director to establish and drive the visual direction of first-tier videogames Collaborate with producer and team leads to ensure that all art assets are created in service of design and technical functionality Manage internal and external art resources in all aspects of the development process Drive and evaluate art tasks in all content areas: animation, 3D modeling, 2D graphics, visual fx, textures, U.I. art, cinematics, etc. Establish and maintain high standards for visual and technical aspects of all game art content. Set and maintain standards for art pipeline, tools used, etc. Evaluate and mentor all art staff on the team Schedule and drive pre-milestone art reviews in collaboration with producer and designer Provide critical analysis of art technology, pipeline and studio practices with the goal of improving game quality, team efficiency and a positive studio culture Review competitive products and stay current on industry titles, trends and art technologies Serve as an active partner in the studios leadership Requirements: 5 or more years of experience in entertainment software with leadership roles on at least two major console games Solid familiarity with Maya and plugins, Photoshop, and other core tools Experience working with staff and team leaders in a highly collaborative environment Strong traditional and digital art skills; ability to create concept art, digital graphics and 3D art A passion for creating and playing video games Team-oriented approach to game development Ability to accurately estimate delivery times for a broad range of art tasks and drive art team to consistently hit dates Location: Kirkland, WA, United States Contact info: Please send your resume and screenshots (or website link) of your work to: jobs@amazeent.com, enter Art Lead in subject line Employee Relations Manager Amaze Entertainment 12421 Willows Rd NE, suite 200 Kirkland, WA 98102 http://www.amazeentertainment.com Fax: 425 825 6700 E-mail: jobs@amazeent.com |
