| subject: Assistant Editor , Threshold Animation Studios Threshold Animation Studios is looking for Assistant Editor Starting Date: immediate Job details: Threshold Animation Studios is looking for a very organised and enthusiastic person who can handle the backbone of the editorial dept. This is a full-time staff position working on various projects, including Foodfight! An Animated feature film. Requirements: Responsibilities include: Reports to the Editor & Producers Batch convert within After Effects and FCP Prepare and Assemble scenes within FCP Create edit logs. Digitise and export mixed formats such as HDV, Digital Betacam and DVD. Prepare OMF files for audio post. Qualifications: University or higher education graduate in film/TV or equivalent experience Great communication skills Excel Final Cut Pro 5 / After Effects 6 or above DVD studio pro authoring experience is a plus. Animation experience is a plus. Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime (including weekends) as needed.
