| subject: Corporate Legal Counsel , Vivendi Universal Games Vivendi Universal Games is looking for Corporate Legal Counsel duration - Full Time Job details: Corporate Legal Counsel The successful candidate will be an active member of the California Bar, and have 7+ years experience in a corporate legal department or law firm specializing in video games, technology or other entertainment transactions. The candidate must be business oriented and able to negotiate and draft complex legal documents, such as publishing, development and licensing agreements and handle other legal work as requested. The candidate must be extremely detail oriented, a team worker, flexible and proactive and be able to work under tight timelines. - Negotiate and draft legal agreements. Relevant legal agreements might include: in-bound licenses out-bound licenses development agreements evaluation agreements distribution/reseller agreements sales and marketing agreements technology agreements non-disclosure agreements - Provide counseling on a broad range of topics, including general commercial law, contract interpretation, intellectual property and licensing. - Support senior management and client groups on product, distribution, and other business issues.
