| subject: Editor , Rainmaker Animation Rainmaker Animation is looking for Editor Job details: overall accountability - Interpreting the script into CG storyboards that will best convey the story and characters presented by the writer while maintaining a quality consistent with the respective series/production; plan and coordinate all the images and sounds that make up the show - Manage his/her animation team effectively and efficiently in order to complete the production on time duties - With Director and Supervising Animator, to create CG storyboards during pre-production. - Cut in pre-recorded dialogue - Cut in set-up stills and lighting rigs - Organize directories and files in logical organized manner - Recommend cutting patterns to director - Ensure animatics are regularly produced for producer approval - Ensure the final edit list for both picture and sound are delivered to the sound and picture editors qualifications - 2-3 years experience editing picture and dialogue on a non linear editing system - preferably avid - Good knowledge of film terminology - Demonstrable ability to communicate thoughts and ideas to co-workers - Able to take direction and work well with others Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada |
