| subject: Environmental Artist , Totally Games Totally Games is looking for Environmental Artist duration - Full Time Job details: Environmental Artist 3D MODELER/ENVIRONMENT ARTIST Totally Games, Lawrence Hollands company of X-Wing fame, is accepting resumes from talented videogame professionals for a full-time 3D MODELER/ENVIRONMENT ARTIST position on a high profile PSP console project. Totally Games has been in the games industry for more than 15 years, working with major publishers such as LucasArts, Activision, Disney and Sega. Were seeking sharp, dedicated, visionary contributors to join our outstanding team. Totally Games offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified 3D Modeler/Environment Artist to contribute significantly to diverse and important aspects of the project in a highly desirable, team-oriented work environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Conceptualize, design, execute and deliver high quality game-ready environments in a timely and dependable manner Commit to raising the quality bar of Totally Games art to its most achievable level Strive to be up to date with the latest character modeling, texturing and lighting technologies and tools Collaborate with tools team in order to communicate needs, generate tool requests and initiate support designed to facilitate the artists workflow QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with 3Dmax (preferred) or Maya and Photoshop Mastery in ability to create 3d models of objects, characters and environments Exceptional ability to create texture maps Expertise in the application of UVW coordinates to meshes Proficiency in lighting environments for dramatic effect Knowledge of rigging of models for animation Exceptional conceptual skills and strong knowledge of human and animal anatomy are highly regarded 2+ years of game development or equivalent production experience Proficiency in animation for creatures and characters highly desirable Able to focus and to manage ones own time in order to meet milestones Due to the immediate nature of this position and current government employment-visa-sponsorship restrictions, we are unable to consider foreign candidates UNLESS they have an advanced degree from a US accredited University/College OR are able to work in the US on a contract basis as an independent consultant.
