The Illinois Institute of Art - Chicago currently has a full time faculty position opening for Game Art Design! This is a wonderful opportunity for someone committed to student success and lifelong learning and is interested in joining our full time faculty! Our dedicated faculty provide competency -based education, design class instruction, enable student exit competencies, deliver learner-centered instruction, encourage student success, manage the classroom environment and contribute to our culture of learning. Candidates should be able to teach a wide range of technical and concept-building skills including level design, game development, game prototyping, and designing interior spaces and worlds and proficiency in various programs such as Photoshop, Maya, 3D Studio Max and Macromedia Flash. Successful candidates will possess a master's degree, industry experience and college level teaching experience. Candidates should be prepared to present copies of transcripts, portfolio of professional work (if applicable) and samples of student work if invited for an interview.
