| subject: Fx Artist, Nickelodeon Animation Studio Nickelodeon Animation Studio is looking for Fx Artist Job details: Summary of Job: We are looking for talented FX artists to work with our CG shows. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Include: • Responsible for taking final composited plates and adding FX. • Responsible for creating a library of FX that can be used with future shows. • Find creative solutions to create difficult effects quickly in 2D. • Able to work independently on developing the look of the FX using the available tools, under supervision of Lighting and Compositing/FX Supervisor. • Able to work efficiently and independently. Minimum Qualifications: • An eye for composition, detail, light, color • Experience in Maya and After Effects required. • 2 Years production experience minimum. • Experience in Digital Fusion/Combustion a plus. • Experience with Particle Illusion a plus. • Scripting knowledge a plus.
