| subject: Graphic Designer , St. John's University St. John's University is looking for Graphic Designer duration - Full Time Job details: Job Title: Graphic Designer Department: Marketing and Communications Campus: Queens Responsibilities: ? Design and production of catalogues, brochures, direct mail and any necessary collateral and print publications. ? Apply creative solutions to all inquiries and requests, and communicate with Creative Director to ensure that final output satisfies departmental needs, deadlines and where necessary, budgets. ? Prepare artwork in accordance with University branding and client specifications. ? Effectively organize, prioritize and complete projects received from Relationship Managers. ? Stay current and on-trend in the industry. ? Perform a variety of tasks. Qualifications: ? Bachelor's degree or equivalent required with minimum three years experience in the field or in a related area. ? Strong conceptual design abilities and original thinking for clients required. ? Must have strong typography and foundation design skills, compositions, and color. ? Accuracy and speed is a must. ? Must work well in a team situation. ? Must be self-directed, responsible, and able to meet deadlines. ? Current and hands-on experience with all applicable industry software; Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe in Design, Quark. Salary Salary commensurate with qualifications, experience and contingent on the departmental budget.
