| subject: Illustrator , Mainframe Entertainment Inc. Mainframe Entertainment Inc. is looking for Illustrator Job details: Responsibilities: To work in the corporate/publicity Art Department to create custom drawings and digital imagery for both current and development properties. Duties: - Create sketches, image concepts, finished drawings, and fully-painted digital imagery as required to support the needs of Mainframe?s development properties and production stills, as well as projects undertaken for external clients - Aid in the creation of high resolution digital production stills, character poses and ancillary imagery based on Mainframe productions in accordance with delivery requirements and per customized artwork requests - Work closely with the corporate/publicity Art Department team and others to conceptualize and produce any necessary visual materials - Fulfill department team requirements: participating in regular and special meetings, filling out time sheets, occasionally working after-hours, organizing and backing up your own data Qualifications: - Strong drawing and 2D design skills, including strong understanding of anatomy and composition - Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Photoshop - Experience with XSI, Maya or other 3D packages - Strong understanding of composition, lighting and colour theory - Degree/diploma in fine arts or animation or equivalent experience - Minimum 2 years industry or equivalent experience - Good computer literacy, previous experience with Macintosh and Linux platforms - Previous experience using a Wacom tablet an asset Thank you in advance for your application!
