| subject: Instructor - Media Arts & Animation , The Art Institute of Portland The Art Institute of Portland is looking for Instructor - Media Arts & Animation Starting Date: ASAp , duration - permanent Job details: Full-time Faculty Position in the Media Arts & Animation Department (2 positions) Deadline for application: open until filled. The Art Institute of Portland is accepting resumes for two full-time instructors in the Media Arts & Animation Department. Qualifications for the full-time positions include ability to assist in departmental administrative activities, including student advising; be willing to participate in school functions such as committee meetings, workshops, open houses, and departmental meetings; be self-motivated and articulate with a professional demeanor; be able to handle multiple tasks with deadlines; have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with demonstrated ability and a willingness to work in a team environment. Qualified candidates should have 3 or more years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: 3D Modeling, Texturing, and Lighting. Traditional drawing and animation skills are also highly desired. Masters Degree, relevant teaching experience and significant experience in the animation/film/game industry preferred.
