| subject: Junior VFX Artist , Shiny Entertainment Shiny Entertainment is looking for Junior VFX Artist duration - Full Time Job details: Junior VFX Artist Job Function/Purpose: The VFX (Visual Effects) Artist is responsible for the design and creation of 2D & 3D effects for Shiny Entertainments current videogame project. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Utilizing both commercial and proprietary software tools, oversee the creation of visually stunning 2D & 3D effects in a real-time, multiplatform game development environment Effects include rigid/soft body dynamics, particles and shaders to simulate effects of explosions, smoke, fire, steam, fog, etc. Design and create in-game and pre-rendered special effects and post production work Collaborate with art and design team on game engine capabilities and limitations to achieve highest quality effects Develop schedules and time estimates for tasks, and provide plan for implementation Perform research to acquire new knowledge necessary to perform assigned tasks Minimum Qualifications: Skilled in 3D graphics, particle systems, dynamics, shaders and relevant commercial software applications Ability to quickly master proprietary tools and development processes Strong passion for creating immersive, high quality videogames Capable of working both as a member of a team, and individually with minimum supervision Experience with computer game technologies a plus Location: Newport Beach, CA, United States Contact info: http://www.f9e.com E-mail: kellyab@f9e.com |
