| subject: Junior Video Technician , Magic Lantern Productions Magic Lantern Productions is looking for Junior Video Technician Starting Date: asap , duration - 3 months then permanent Job details: Magic Lanterns video team need a junior tech to help deliver everything from traditional, tape-based pure video to interactive online projects. The role will involve front-line support to editing systems (online and offline), machine room administration and encoding for mobile and Web. Youll need to have an active interest across the breadth of technical work, including traditional video systems, IT and the Web. Knowledge of Linux/Unix is a plus, but not essential. Ideally, you will have had some real-world experience with video systems. This is a challenging role, New Media production presents unique technical challenges combining video, online and interactive elements, so adaptability is a must!
