| subject: Lead Animator , Datascope Recruitment Datascope Recruitment is looking for Lead Animator duration - Indefinite Job details: Located in Singapore, this is a new company with a core of experienced developers from all over the world. They are currently producing a very exciting next generation video game with their own engine and technology. They are looking for like minded individuals to join their core team. They currently require a Lead Animator. The main responsibilities will be to produce high quality animation for a next generation game. You will be required to work closely with the lead artist and programmer to co-ordinate the animation assets and will be in charge of scoping out the animation tasks for the duration of the project. This position is full time, and requires relocation to Singapore. Requirements: - Ability to produce very high quality realistic keyframe animation. - Ability to create time estimates for animation tasks and work to production deadlines. - Ability to manage and mentor junior animators. - A strong knowledge of the general rules of a Video game mechanics and game-play. - Willing to accept direction, work well under pressure, and handle multiple tasks. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills - Willing to relocate to Singapore Desirable: - Strong grasp of Maya, and other next generation animation software - Ability to create complex and flexible character rigs - 3D modeling / texturing - 2D Animation experience - Gamers!
