| subject: Lead Artist , Omens Studios Omens Studios is looking for Lead Artist Starting Date: asap , duration - permanent Job details: We are looking for a motivated, multi-skilled Lead Artist who is proficient in different aspects of CG production, has knowledge of the CG production pipeline and processes, as well as understanding of technical capabilities of Maya-based production technology. The Lead Artist must have a good eye for composition, motion, timing and lighting, and be able to interpret scripts and storyboards, and to effectively review and critique art assets. As the lead, he / she must also have effective communication skills (oral and written), be able to contribute positively and effectively in a team environment, and be able to manage, motivate and direct a team. He / she must have a minimum of 5 years in a professional production environment, and minimum of 2 years experience in animation direction, production and art resource management. The following attributes are considered distinct advantages: illustration and storyboarding skills, experience with directing and / or working with motion capture animation, familiarity with lip-synching and facial animation, and an interest in and knowledge of video games.
