| subject: Lighting Technical Director , Yowza Digital / Switch VFX Yowza Digital / Switch VFX is looking for Lighting Technical Director Starting Date: mid-June , duration - 42 Weeks Job details: Working with the Animation Director and Producers to create realistic lighting set ups for a live action / CG series, including: solve technical production issues, streamline processes develop tools/scripts/plugins to streamline process participate in preproduction to determine and address lighting requirements and issues work with directors and producers to prioritize shots and resolve problems set up multi-pass renders to provide elements for compositing troubleshoot and debut rendering errors caused by problems in Maya scenes open up and examine scene files of problem renders to identify settings, objects, shaders, etc. which may prevent a shot from rendering properly Requirements: experience with production shaders/maps/procedurals knowledge of Maya MEL scripting, UV coordinates and lighting, Mental Ray, UNIX, Windows understanding of zbrush, photoshop, Combustion strong understanding of lighting paradigm, colour, composition and mood is a must Location: Toronto ON Canada email - sonjac@yowzaanimation.com address - 219 Dufferin Street, Suite 102A Toronto ON M6K 1Y9 Canada |
