| subject: Maya Environment Modeller - Feature Film , Photon NZ FX Photon NZ FX is looking for Maya Environment Modeller - Feature Film Starting Date: Immediate, duration - 4 weeks Job details: Photon NZFX is an independent VFX company specializing in visual effects and animation for feature film and television production. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Environment Modellers with extensive texturing experience to work on a high-profile feature film. Requirements: Required Technical and Artistic Skills • Minimum experience of three years modelling high-end models for feature film using Maya. • You must be able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency at creating a wide variety of organic models. • An ability to interpret 2d sketches and illustration and drawings into 3d models. • Prior experience contributing to a modelling team to complete work suitable for animation, texturing and rigging. Other skills • You must be able to work within an efficient modelling team. • Experience working closely with concept artists and other department including Rigging, Texturing and Animation • Experience with UV mapping and editing. • Have excellent communication skills and work collaboratively on deadline driven projects.
