| I am scanning Point Cloud to Polygons - human faces I want to replace the eyes, which are generally a mess, with preformed eyes. I have such an eye in OBJ format but I need to tweak it for each individual subject as eyes are very unique and form a major part of our recognition siugnature. I need a basic 3d prog that does not have a huge learning curve. All it needs to do is allow me to push and pull at polygons so as to move the brow shape/ undercut around - and also to shape, recurve and resize the eyelid contours. See image attached. I would use a standard jpeg texture photo for working from. Some functionality in hair would be a bonus. I don't need lighting, texture, or anything else. I wondered if there are any relatively easy learning curve 3D apps that will enable me to push and pull polygons around in this way. All I need is one tutorial! After I have “individualized” the eye file I can drop it (register)back into the polgonized head scan. If you have any ideas I would be grateful to hear them Many thanks ![]() |

| You can try wings 3d it's free and has all the functionality you need. Another option would be silo 3d .. it is a more complex commercial program for 3d modeling. |
