| subject: Next-Gen 3D Character Artist , is looking for Next-Gen 3D Character Artist duration - Full Time Job details: Next-Gen 3D Character Artist Will contribute to the visual content of next generation console games by creating high quality 3D characters in a variety of visual styles. Ideal Candidates will have 3+ years experience working as a production artist in the gaming industry. All candidates must submit a demo reel, CD or URL of recent work, which must be accompanied by a breakdown sheet specifically describing responsibilities for each sample. Responsibilities: Create character models in Maya. Create realistic and fantasy character models for next generation engine. Work within art direction to bring character concept to life. Texturing using normal map techniques.( Zbrush or high res modelisation) Work extremely well as part of a team. Qualifications: 3+ years experience working as a production artist in the gaming industry. Experience with Maya, Photoshop, Zbrush. Strong knowledge of human and animal anatomy, with an eye for accurate proportions, form, and details. Strong understanding of high and low resolution techniques for animation. Strong traditional art skills. Work with minimum supervision in a quick and timely manner to achieve goals and deadlines The ideal candidate will also have: Understanding of technology Experience in other traditional media, such as sculpting or painting. Strong passion for playing and creating games.
