| subject: Procurement Analyst- iPod Business Team , Apple Apple is looking for Procurement Analyst- iPod Business Team duration - Full-Time Job details: Procurement Analyst- iPod Business Team The iPod Business Team is seeking an experienced procurement analyst who will manage cost across several iPod product lines. The position's deliverables will include meeting or exceeding cost goals as well as managing supplier relationships. This person will be an integral member of a team that will execute overall supplier strategy to support Apple critical success factors. Key Responsible Areas: - Managing day to day supplier relationship - Establish, execute and refine business processes - Participate in cost negotiations, tracking, reporting and benchmarking - Responsible for timely and accurate iPod costs (PO & Projections) - Participate in supplier escalations - Integral part of OEM QBR's - Participate in RFQ process, provide back-up to Business Managers - Ensure OEM compliance to financial processes outlined in MMA & SOW's - Participate in OEM Business Meetings - Reconciliation of monthly PPV and PO - Support business managers in the generation and tracking of purchase requisitions - Special Project Requests Candidates should possess: - 3 - 5 years applicable OEM procurement experience - BA/BS Degree - Strong communication skills - Analytical skills - Program Management Experience - Experience in Cost negotiation This job is located in: Santa Clara Valley Location: Cupertino, California, 95014, United States |
