| subject: Producer , Blizzard Entertainment Blizzard Entertainment is looking for Producer duration - Full Time Job details: Producer The team behind Diablo I and II is looking for a highly organized individual with outstanding communication skills and project management skills. The ideal candidate has prior experience in game development and has a keen knowledge of how each discipline operates and interacts. Self-direction and follow-up skills are a must, as well as the ability to anticipate production issues and find effective solutions. The candidate must enjoy seeing a project from inception to completion and delivering games on time with the highest quality. Job Duties: Liaises with different departments to facilitate communication Works with department leads to determine resources necessary to see projects through to completion Coordinates, tracks and manages the activities of personnel to ensure that project tasks are completed on time Provides motivation and direction to ensure that project goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved Facilitates team and department meetings to reach decisions effectively Contributes to a positive work environment and ensures project forward momentum Assists the Senior Producer with creative and organizational tasks as necessary Other duties as may be assigned Requirements: 2+ years experience in the game industry Must have shipped at least one AAA title in a producer role Ability to communicate effectively with programming, art and business personnel Experience managing teams and delivering products on time Knowledge of software development process, project management and performance management Proven experience managing schedules and employees to achieve desired results Experience with game development pipelines and potential bottlenecks Exceptional inter-personal skills, oral and written communication skills Ability to facilitate and mediate between members of the Executive team, Development teams, Sound, Cinematics, Online Technologies, QA, Video Production, Marketing and PR Unrelenting self-motivation and initiative Experience with online technologies, Battle.net, and multiplayer systems a plus Passion for games (especially Blizzard titles!)
