| subject: Project Director, Online Projects , SesameWorkshop SesameWorkshop is looking for Project Director, Online Projects duration - Full Time Job details: Project Director, Online Projects Sesame Workshops Digital and Interactive Media Group is currently seeking a Director Of Online Projects to lead strategic thinking and oversee production for Sesame Workshops web presence throughout the world. This individual will work cross-divisionally on a daily basis, integrating content and creating consensus among multiple stakeholders both internal and external to the organization. Position responsibilities include: Facilitate and integrate all web-based Workshop activities Ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely production of all online elements, both on Workshop and partner sites; manage key relationships with vendors and partners Strive for brand cohesion and consistent messaging online Participate in strategic thinking around the Workshops online presence and offerings; create online traffic-drivers Serve as editorial gatekeeper to evaluate and approve content prior to going live Aggregating and distilling input from all areas of the organization and developing the best approach for incorporating feedback into project executions Facilitating aggressive timelines and proactively addressing bottlenecks Guiding the implementation process and supporting the production team throughout the process The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of web content production and publishing experience (with significant exposure to interactive media and/or non-profits). Strong leadership and communication skills (verbal and written) are required, as is a basic technical knowledge of web platforms (e.g.HTML, Flash), best practices, and content management systems. An interest in childrens media and experience with digital distribution business models is a plus. Salary range is 75,000+.
