| subject: Recruiter , Paramount Pictures Paramount Pictures is looking for Recruiter duration - Indefinite Job details: Facilities Engineer RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Aid in the design and implementation of mechanical systems in conjunction with maintenance and project managers to ensure that the best solution and implementations are achieved. ? Serve as knowledge specialist for mechanical related projects and repairs. ? Aid in the preparation of design specifications and bid documents. ? Review and analyze engineering documents & plans, vendor specifications and installation methodologies; project schedules and costs. ? Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and samples. ? Perform continual on-site inspections of construction/maintenance activities. ? Recommend design modifications when field conditions warrant. ? Monitor and record testing as required. ? Meet with and access the requirements of other in-house departments as required. ? Maintain progress photos of the project. ? Review and evaluate all change orders and recommend plan of action. ? Insure that project meets all the requirements of the plans and specifications of the contract documents drawings. ? Review and approve final 'as built' drawings and documentation. ? Receive all warranties and provide all mechanical and electrical Systems information, including operation and maintenance manuals, to Studio Operation personnel responsible for ongoing maintenance. ? Aid in preparing punch list corrections. ? Prepare reports and perform special projects as required. ? Attend weekly progress meetings. ? Present a consistently positive approach to all external and internal contacts through a manner that is friendly, courteous, helpful, and cooperative at all times. REQUIREMENTS: ? B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Additional formal courses in project management and building automation a plus. ? Minimum of five to eight years practical experience in building mechanical systems with an emphasis on experience with Carrier HVAC equipment. ? Requires a broad based knowledge of all phases of commercial building design, construction, and maintenance with a strong background in mechanical equipment and HVAC systems, mechanical control systems, including building management system interfaces; and electrical systems. Must be knowledgeable in design and operation of: building systems; specification writing and interpretation; construction/mechanical drawings; construction budgeting and control; change order management; quality control; strong communication skills; and a basic understanding of current federal, state, and local environmental rules, regulations, building codes, and labor laws. ? Must have the ability to identify and implement creative solutions to problems in order to stay within budget guidelines. ? Must recognize and be able to relate to the formal and informal organizational and functional structures of all departments. ? Must possess excellent computer skills and knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD. ? Must possess effective oral and written communications skills.
