| subject: SENIOR AUDIO DESIGNER , Volition Volition is looking for SENIOR AUDIO DESIGNER duration - Full Time Job details: SENIOR AUDIO DESIGNER Responsibilities: o Drive the process of assessing and fulfilling audio needs for our next-generation AAA console titles. o Create, edit, and mix original audio content in accordance with the projects design goals, style, and vision. o Complete project requirements at the highest level of quality and productivity with minimal direction. o Manage, track, and coordinate asset lists, tasks, schedules, and external contract work as required. o Help create, maintain, and optimize pipelines and processes. o Keep leads and managers advised of progress on scheduled tasks, potential improvements to pipelines, and problems or inefficiencies encountered. o Keep up with competitive products and upcoming releases. o May be tasked with other duties and responsibilities in support of the project audio team. Qualifications: o At least 2 complete product cycles as a professional audio designer in the industry. Proven track record with AAA console products preferred. o High level of proficiency with professional audio software and hardware. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to proprietary editors and project pipelines. o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. o Ability and willingness to accept and follow direction, collaborate productively with others, and work hard to meet deadlines as necessary. o Positive attitude. Disciplined and self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Proactive, team-focused, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented. o Excellent organizational skills. Ability to multitask effectively, prioritize competing demands, and follow through on details. Must be flexible enough to deal with changing role requirements. o Passion for games and ability to articulate that passion clearly and analytically from an audio perspective. A broad knowledge base of console and PC games. o College degree or 4 years equivalent experience. Pluses: o Management experience. o Strong music composition skills. o Experience with building original sound effects libraries.
