Heavy Iron Studios a division of THQ, Inc. is looking for Senior Environmental Artist #2703 duration - Full Time Job details: Senior Environmental Artist #2703 We are currently looking to fill an Senior Environmental Artist position on an upcoming high-profile title. Artists will contribute to the creation of the look and feel of the visual content in our console games. Skills required are as follows: solid modeling skills and experience in Maya or equivalent 3D packages. Strong traditional drawing and painting skills. Ability to paint textures and UV map models. All candidates must submit a demo reel, CD/DVD or URL of recent artwork. Qualifications: 7 years professional art experience. Experience with Maya for a least 5+ years Must have shipped a minimum of 3 video game titles Playstation 2,PC, Xbox Game cube Formal art education, BFA from an accredited art/design school preferred Demonstrated ability in providing art critiques, both visual and verbal Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and visual Strong proficiency with one or more of the following 3D software 3D Studio Max, Z brush, Lightwave.
