| subject: Senior Visual FX Artist , Datascope Recruitment Datascope Recruitment is looking for Senior Visual FX Artist Starting Date: Full Time , duration - Permenant Job details: Our client prides itself on being a fun and energetic developer that uses cutting-edge design and engineering to make successful and exciting games. They are a growing studio with a number of shipped titles. Draw on strong artistic and technical skills to add dramatic flair to environments, characters, cinematics, and more through the creative use of effects. Help staff and lead a small group of artists to conceptualize and create visuals for next-gen platforms. Create effects to include rigid body dynamics, particles and shaders to simulate the effects of explosions, smoke, fire, steam, fog, rain, flowing water, etc., and create natural phenomena like leaves and debris flowing in the wind. Requirements: Qualifications/Education: Art related college degree; Strong traditional art/animation skills; At least five years industry experience; At least two years of applicable VFX experience; Fluent knowledge of at least one major 3D package (3DS MAX, Maya, Softimage); Fluent knowledge of Premiere, After Effects, Combustion, or similar compositing software; Skilled in 3D graphics, particle systems, dynamics, shaders, etc. Ability to quickly master proprietary tools and development processes; Experience with Adobe Photoshop, or comparable program; Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Location: Seattle WA USA email - ben@datascopeUSA.com web site - http://www.datascopeUSA.com |
