| subject: Shader Writer , GlasgowAnimation & Billi Productions GlasgowAnimation & Billi Productions is looking for Shader Writer duration - Indefinite Job details: We are looking for intermediate to senior level Shader Writers who are capable of designing and creating shaders and the look of computer generated objects and scenes. We require the following skills and abilities: Demonstrated ability to create production-ready shaders as part of an overall facility-rendering pipeline. Strong technical skills including software design and implementation combined with a solid understanding of math and physics theories. Strong artistic skills with a proven ability in the creation of cinematic color and lighting on digital productions. 3-5+ years production experience in the creation and application of Renderman shaders for motion picture visual effects and/ or animated features. BS/BSC in computer science or related discipline. Experience with Maya required. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
