| subject: Special Effects Artist , Game Studio Game Studio is looking for Special Effects Artist Starting Date: asap , duration - permanent Job details: The ideal candidate will have delivered visual effects for at least 1 recently released console title and be able to provide both practical technical knowledge and aesthetic input on all areas of the game. A superb understanding of 3DS MAX, Photoshop is essential; a working knowledge of Unreal 3 material shader editor is a big plus. Also crucial is knowledge of techniques that will enable us to ensure our visual effects work really shines on the target platforms given their restrictions. The candidate must be a superb, pro-active communicator who is equally happy dealing with technical or artistic colleagues. Above all though we are looking for somebody with enthusiasm, passion and the desire to make a truly great game. When applying you should submit a show reel that demonstrates both the final result of your work and the methods you use to deliver it.
