| subject: Sr. Project Manager , Wagerworks Wagerworks is looking for Sr. Project Manager duration - Full Time Job details: Sr. Project Manager Sr. Project Manager RESPONSIBILITIES: The Senior Project Manager works directly with various teams planning, facilitating and managing the delivery of complex strategic projects and/or processes. The Senior Project Managers responsibilities include managing timelines, resources, delivery dates, risk management and intra-company communication. The Project Manager ensures the projects health and resolves issues obstructing development and delivery. The Project Manager works with Marketing, Product Management, Account Management, software engineers, QA, technical writers, site designers, art directors, third party contractors, and business partners to deliver a state of the art on-line gaming application. Facilitates communication among the various teams defining, developing and managing the delivery of each project. Focuses on identifying and resolving potential disruptions to project plans, providing timely answers to Account Management, Customer Service and Professional Services queries, and escalating to senior management whenever decisions must be made that alter product and solution deliveries to the client. QUALIFICATIONS: Batchelor's degree or equivalent 6+ years of experience managing complex projects and/or processes Ability to deliver on commitments Ability to lead and influence others Ability to work with sales teams and development teams to plan and deploy product to customers Excellent communication skills Experience with B2B software delivery Experience with collaborative enterprise software packages: MS Project Server, MS Sharepoint, ClearQuest Expertise with MS Project and other project tracking tools and methods Familiarity with software development and problem resolution processes In-depth knowledge of software development life cycles Must be detail oriented Must be self-motivated Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Hands-on enterprise development experience with CSS, HTML, Flash, Java, SQL Knowledge of high transaction application environments Knowledge of international gaming standards Knowledge of Internet based application software development lifecycle Familiarity with game development Familiarity with highly regulated business environments To apply for this position please send a resume to jobs@wagerworks.com or jvanlandingham@wagerworks.com.
