| subject: Technical Director for the 3D Studio , Cinegroupe Cinegroupe is looking for Technical Director for the 3D Studio Starting Date: summer Job details: Administer the 3D studios technical resources by: Assigning the technical resources to each of the 3D productions with respect to priorities and production schedules. Estimating and providing advice on the processing, rendering and storage needs of current and upcoming productions. Working alongside the IT department for developing proper infrastructures in multi-productions facilities (in Montreal and abroad). Assessing the performance for each steps of a production. Improve productivity by optimizing the pipeline efficiency and creating interfaces, scripts, procedures, etc., as needed. Act as the key technical person between studio management, production staff and foreign studios. Ensure the proper running of the 3D studios on the technical level. Documenting technical developments and procedures. Requirements: Degree in Computer Science and 5 years experience in a similar job Knowledge of 3dsMax and Max-scripting required Familiar with Linux and Windows mixed environments Experience in 3D feature films and series an asset Experience with production pipelines Aptitude for teamwork Must be willing and able to travel Show flexibility under changing conditions.
