| subject: Tools and Training Specialist , Day 1 Studios Day 1 Studios is looking for Tools and Training Specialist duration - Full Time Job details: Tools and Training Specialist Location: HUNT VALLEY, MD Your Focus: Manage Day 1 internal tools and technology training/documentation website Prioritize documentation and support requests to direct the creation of training materials for internal tools. Manage internal and external training process for Day 1 tools along with supporting documentation resources Liaising with external vendors where needed. Collaborate with internal staff such as engineering, art and design, to identify and fulfill their existing training and documentation needs while anticipating future needs. Responsible for demonstrations and presentations of the engine and tools. Maintain and enhance relationships with internal and external users of the tools. Assist in troubleshooting of tool related issues. Document processes used within our development environment. Investigates internal and external solutions to solve specific project-dependent problems. Pro-actively identify and document new techniques for using the toolset quickly and independently. What YOU Need to Succeed: Sufficient experience with content creation for games to create technical documentation for a next generation engine. Detail-oriented & Self-managing Demonstrated oral and written technical communication skills Excellent organizational skills One to Five years experience in games or entertainment tools software development in a production role. Passion for cutting edge game development Working knowledge of the issues faced by artists, programmers, and designers in the day-to-day performance of their duties, and the ability to propose solutions in a real-time production environment. Experience with programming and programming techniques a plus, but not required. Familiarity with the creation of train materials using documentation, audio and video software packages.
