| subject: UNIX Administrator for Internet Services , Apple Apple is looking for UNIX Administrator for Internet Services duration - Full-Time Job details: We are looking for a dynamic software systems engineering manager to lead a group of highly motivated people dedicated to building a world class e-Commerce website. This position works closely with Apple Online Store while reporting into the Internet Services Group. The position responsibilities include support of existing store properties on a 7 X 24 basis, close alliance with functional groups for future architectural changes and deployments for multiple locations. Manage a team of System Administrators in support of all hardware in production and in labs areas. Coordinates all launch events and ensures website availability. Maintain budget planning and execution for all hardware, software, and personnel. Pager support is a requirement. - Minimum of 7 years experience supporting a large online site on a 7 X 24 basis - 3+ years of engineering management experience including demonstrated experience recruiting and retaining top talent. - Previous support of large Enterprise Internet sites a requirement. - Strong technical skills in Solaris, OSX, Veritas, NetScaler, ServerIron, WebObjects, SAN, Networking, and NetApp Filers preferred. - Highly professional, with the ability to apply best-practices to deliver high quality work on tight schedules. - Demonstrated innovative and creative thinking capabilities and troubleshooting skills. - BA/BS degree, MA/MS/MBA degree or equivalent work experience.
