Spark Unlimited, Inc. is looking for USER INTERFACE ARTIST duration - Full Time Job details: USER INTERFACE ARTIST 3-D-2D Generalist Work within the established technical specifications and process to analyze and design the layout and architecture for a user friendly experience. Create U.I. and HUD mockups, and production artwork as well as problem solve for multiple platform types. Responsibilities: -Create and integrate HUD art assets. -Research and design UI/HUD. -Work with the Art Director to establish the visual direction of the UI/HUD consistent with the style of the game. Requirements: graphic design background or web design experience not necessary but a plus Be able to conceptualize, present and execute ideas within a tight schedule. Proficiency in using 2D image applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash), knowledge of 3d applications (Maya or 3DS Max) a plus. Artistic, verbal and written communication skills. Big plus if you play games. Strong interpersonal skills-able to interact with team members of different disciplines. Able to follow direction, process artistic and technical feedback, in order to create unique design solutions. game experience, a relevant undergraduate degree and/or equivalent experience preferred.
