| subject: User-Interface (UI) Artist , Firaxis Games/2K Games/T2 Games Firaxis Games/2K Games/T2 Games is looking for User-Interface (UI) Artist duration - Full Time Job details: User-Interface (UI) Artist Firaxis is looking for a talented and inspired user-interface (UI) Artist with Flash expertise to join our team in Hunt Valley, MD. This could be your opportunity to join the award-winning creators of Civilization IV, Pirates! and Railroads. This position offers the opportunity to design the layout and architecture for a user-friendly game experience. If you yearn to create UI and Heads Up Display (HUD) mockups, produce artwork for multiple platform types, and do this in a supportive, fun and flexible environment, read on. Responsibilities: Create and maintain the look and feel of a games UI Work with the Project Leads to establish the vision of the UI/HUD Work with team members to achieve the highest quality visuals and best play experience possible Requirements: Proficiency with Flash (Advanced Action Script experience preferred), Photoshop; 3D experience (3DS Max or Maya) a plus Strong interest in the field of User Interface development Ability to conceptualize, present and execute ideas within a tight schedule Strong artistic, verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of games in many genres ~ both PC and Console Strong interpersonal skills ~ ability to interact with team members of different disciplines Ability to follow direction and process artistic and technical feedback in order to create unique design solutions Experience with PC or console games BFA and/or equivalent experience preferred Location: HUNT VALLEY, MARYLAND, United States Contact info: E-mail: greatjobs@firaxis.com |
