xsi5: cluster groups

Post reply

AmberPrince
Hi. So I'm creating several clusters then group them. Then I set the properties of the group so that it hides the members, and the clusters are still visible What is the problem?
Theamxyz
Hi AmberPrince From my experience group properties doesn't work on clusters.
AmberPrince
Hm.. strange.. Then why would I need the ability to group them? I can't move the group like in max. I can not set the properties. It seems pretty usless. :(
Theamxyz
You can set a single material to the cluster. And you can also select the clusters quite quickly if they a grouped.
AmberPrince
hm.. ok.. but anyway.. making the clusters invisible with goup properties would be very cool.
