Hi How do I make loop and ring edge selections in XSI? Thank you
Kris
Just select an edge, press the alt button and middle click on an edge that is in the same loop or ring.. you can also left click and then the loop will stop on the edge you clicked You can also do it with polys and points

ops another thing how do I select many edge loops at once? In 3ds max I could select an edge ring, then I could select all the edge loops that started from that ring with a hotkey In xsi with the method you told me I can select only one edge loop at a time.

Hm... I don't know I never needed to select more edge loops at once Did you try right clicking on your object when in component mode? there is the edge loop selection tool... With it you can paint select the edges that will start the edge loops
