I'm using the standard tool with X and M (deform in the x and mirror ) but the farther the points get from each other the less mirror i'm getting on the mesh - any ideas?
srge
You mean only x? Because x is symmetry on x-axis
Vagon
Right - but i want the mirror in the x Thats why i'm using it... So it mirrors fine when the points are close from each other but as they go more far from each, the mirror becomes less and less noticeable To the point there is no more mirror

Hmm sounds strange Maybe you shifted it a bit The model by accident Are you sure its really getting the corresponding verts in the middle ?
Vagon
Yes Works fine closer to the middle
srge
Probably because you messed with the symmetry Zbrush symmetry, is approximation I mean they look on points in space You would have to resym it If the left side is somehow a bit off It can lead to misbehaviour Rather try smartresym and mask the side you dont want to be altered You might still get a crease in the middle

Damn smartresym take for ever :( Is it normal?
srge
Yeah it does :) Don't worry, it will feel great, when the pain has gone, though.
