Hi-Rez Studios is looking for Animator

Job details: Animator Animator for next generation MMO game

Responsibilities:
- Animate characters (primarily) but also weapons and props to be used within next generation MMO game
- Achieve realistic animation style via key-frame and motion-capture data
- Contribute to the articulation of the animation set while adhering to system technical requirements

Required:
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high quality character animations displaying realism, personality, and excellence
- Good eye for motion and understanding of classic animation principles
- Mastery of professional art animation tool (Max / Character Studio / Maya)
- Team skills combined with ability to work self-directed
- Passion for games and game development

Preferred:
- BFA or equivalent background
- Experience with motion capture data
- Experience with Unreal Engine 3/Matinee
- Experience with MMOG development
- 3DS Max expert, Max scripting a plus
- Traditional art foundation expressed through figure drawing

Note:
Our studio is located in Alpharetta, GA and so applicants must be willing to relocate to the Atlanta area.
