Insomniac Games is looking for Animator
duration - Full Time
Job details: Animator We're seeking an Animator to aid in the creation of AAA video game titles by performing the following duties.
-Create performance and motion for characters and objects based on storyboard panels and director's vision.
-Create in/game cycles.
-Work with director and team of animators in keeping characters consistent and shots seamless.
-Must be able to handle production deadlines.
-Responsible for lip-sync, body and facial animation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Fine Arts, Computer Animation or related field and 1 year of experience.**
- Must have strong 3D animation experience in character posing and acting. Reels submitted must show character (person or animal) acting with lip-sync.
-Must have a solid understanding of animation principles, weight, timing and posing.
-Should have experience with Maya (2+ years).
-Must be able to work in a collaborative environment and take direction well.
-Should have good time management skills.
** We will accept any combination of education (U.S. or foreign equivalency), training & progressive work experience equal to a Bachelor's degree.
