Job details: Consumer & Games Partnership Manager Worldwide Developer Relations is looking for a dynamic individual who will be responsible for maintaining relationships with new and existing developers in the Consumer & Interactive Entertainment (Games) markets. The individual will manage overall relationships with strategic developers including driving revenue through appropriate co-marketing programs, technical and marketing briefings, escalation and resolution of technical issues, hardware and software seeding, and other matters.
Job requirements include:
Maintains current knowledge of the Consumer and Interactive Entertainment markets and overall trends in these respective industries
Works both independently and in close collaboration with Technology Evangelism, others in Partnership Management, Apple Retail, Education, Product Marketing, Engineering and senior management. Builds internal and external relationships in order to effectively deliver Apple's message to developers, as well as championing developer needs and issues within Apple.
Maintains a high level of marketing, business development and technical expertise. Clearly communicates Apple product and marketing messages. Works with developers to create business case proposals to bring new Consumer and Interactive Entertainment solutions to the market.
A working knowledge of the Mac platform is highly recommended.
The position also requires excellent relationship and account management skills, aggressiveness, persuasiveness and the ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization. The candidate must be self-directed and have a track record of showing initiative in outbound business development activities. The successful candidate will be results driven and possess a keen attention to detail, remarkable follow-through, and an ability to focus on strategic agendas while keeping day-to-day job activities current.
Normally requires a BS/BA degree in business and/or engineering, plus a MS/MBA degree with 8-10 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent.
